Re: GLAMMY
Kent’s leg spinner took four wickets I see. Hope Van Der Gugten’s injury is not down to us over bowling him.Originally posted by FormerlyJohnnyBreadhead View PostHopefully Van der Gugten's injury isn't serious - doesn't look like he's going to bowl today, and Nick Webb seems unsure if he's going to be fit for next week.
Think Kent are going to be in for a big score here now. Easy to say in hindsight, but think they dropped a big bollock not picking Mason Crane.
Chris Cooke has also gone off, although we've at least got some depth in that department.
Kent 277-5, anything been said about whether Joe Denley will be able to bat?

Re: GLAMMY
Jury's still out on ul Hussain as an opener, and hopefully Tribe will learn a lot from those two pretty torrid spells against Agar.
Still in Glamorgan's hands though.
Kent's behaviour in the field has been ridiculous mind, and I wouldn't be surprised if they lose a point. Don't mind a bit of liveliness in the slips but they're appealing every ball. Absolutely tinpot.

Very mouthy and loud. Surprised someone didn’t remind them of their league position. It will be tough tomorrow unless we take it by the scruff of the neck.Originally posted by FormerlyJohnnyBreadhead View PostJury's still out on ul Hussain as an opener, and hopefully Tribe will learn a lot from those two pretty torrid spells against Agar.

It was an embarrassment to watch the Kent fielders behaving like teenagers. Umpires should have done their job.Originally posted by FormerlyJohnnyBreadhead View PostJury's still out on ul Hussain as an opener, and hopefully Tribe will learn a lot from those two pretty torrid spells against Agar.

Re: GLAMMY
Today could be a big day for Glammy in the context of the season.
Weather permitting, Derbyshire look likely to lose - they're chasing 446 to win and are 93-4 at start of play. Gloucestershire behind us are unlikely to win as well.
Really need a big innings from Carlson and Root, as we can't keep relying on Ingram and Kellaway. Nick Webb says Cooke and VdG can bat if needed (with runners) so if we get to that point and there's still 50 or so runs needed, I think we're going to be in big trouble.
Huge if we can get home, though.

I’m not very confident they can chase that total down on the 4th day. It should be doable but this is GlamorganOriginally posted by FormerlyJohnnyBreadhead View PostToday could be a big day for Glammy in the context of the season.

Re: GLAMMY
Yes 21 to get at lunch. Barring a dramatic collapse (mind you Kent did in their first innings!) Glamorgan will be in second place in division 2 later on this afternoon, as Derbyshire are heading for defeat unless their last three wickets can make over 250 after lunch.Originally posted by Don Corleone View PostGlad to be totally wrong - comfortable chase
