Good article, thanks for that.Originally posted by City123 View PostArticle about young Rob Tankiewicz in WalesOnline. Wonder if we'll use the EFL Trophy to give opportunities to even younger players!

An assist for him today as Wales u-17s beat Estonia's 2-1.

Could've had double figures. Perrett's progress seems to have slowed a bit but he looked fine there. What have you made of him this season?Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostOur under strength under 21s looking very good at Peterborough.

He’s someone who could do with a loan. I’ve watched two full games for the under 21s this season - thought he was very good against Sheffield United and quite poor against Wigan when the whole team had an off day.Originally posted by Loramski View PostCould've had double figures. Having lost their second game to Australia they beat Niigata 2-1 today. Noah Williams and Hayden Allmark started, Tiger Tobin and Jack Sykes came on as subs.Originally posted by City123 View PostCity youngster Sykes scored as Wales u18 beat Japan 1-0
They finished second overall, level on points with Niigata and ahead of Japan and Australia. Not sure how Niigata are better than Japan but I won't lose sleep over it.
As Pedro says, what a trip for those boys.

Saw one of the lads had to pull out to be cover for Wednesday's first team this weekend, sure he was delighted with that...

Mafico seems to have been mentioned a lot in the pre-game stuff from the club today, imagine he'll start tomorrow
Wonder if we'll see any of the (even!) younger lads on the bench at Exeter? One or two of them spotted in first team training recently

Very possible, yes. BM has been a hard guy to second guess so far. You'd expect him to put out a strong enough side to win the game but it won't be a big surprise to see a couple of newbies in the team/squad.Originally posted by City123 View PostMafico seems to have been mentioned a lot in the pre-game stuff from the club today, imagine he'll start tomorrow

An under-21 game at Huddersfield tomorrow lunchtime, that should give us a few clues. £5 entry or £10 for hospitality if you're tempted.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
I'm not so sure that BBM is going to go with big changes as he mentioned at the outset that he wanted to win games in all competitions and would take them al seriously. For me only Spiers would be a probable but I still hope to see Gies Mafico and Nyakuhwa starting.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostThree names I thought might be in tonight’s squad starting for the under 21s this afternoon.

Just to say that Noah Williams and Hayden Allmark started for Wales under 18s in their final game in the four team tournament in Japan they’ve been competing in. Tiger Tobin and Jack Sykes came on as second half subs as Wales beat Niigata 2-1, but their opponents, who I think must have been a senior club side , won the tournament on goal difference over us - we beat Japan 1-0 and lost 2-1 to Australia in our other matches.
