I’ve been giving UK politics a break since the election, but you can’t help but notice the furore about the withdrawal of the pensioners cold weather allowance. However, I’ve just been listening to 5 Live’s phone in about all the freebies he and his wife are getting. You just know that Starmer would have been on his high horse if he was still leader of the opposition and, say, Boris Johnson was the PM getting the free football tickets, free Taylor Swift tickets, free glasses, free suits and free clothes for his wife. Labour politicians have always been more open to criticism for this sort of thing than Tory ones for some reason and I fall into that trap as much as anyone else, but he deserves all he gets over this - I didn’t like him before he became PM, but I thought he was a step up from the likes of Cameron, Johnson and Truss, but he’s as bad as any of them.

Re: Starmer taking the piss now.
Less principled than Corbyn.
Less charismatic than Blair.
Less progressive in redistribution than Brown.
More factional than Kinnock.
More on the take than Truss and Sunak.
I don't understand why people don't take to the serial liar!

Yep, I genuinely didn't see this kind of thing coming. I thought he was smart enough to know that being clean from this kind of pointless small fry corruption was his main selling point. Everything they have been gifted, they could afford to buy and just steer clear of all of this.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostI’ve been giving UK politics a break since the election, but you can’t help but notice the furore about the withdrawal of the pensioners cold weather allowance. Re: Starmer taking the piss now.
He's one of the North London metropolitan Labour lot
Surely people aren't surprised by this sort of thing ?
Stephen Kinnock would be the same if he represented a south east seat
He gets seats for the football and that ponce Cameron gets them for the jolly old rugger
I just want him to be better than the last lot
Unless he's found guilty of murder I will be voting for him rather than the conservatives

Calm down, Bob. It's nothing in comparison with Trump who has fleeced gullible millions with his endless grifting.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostI’ve been giving UK politics a break since the election, but you can’t help but notice the furore about the withdrawal of the pensioners cold weather allowance. You all know the one......
Oh well just in case you don't
"The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which"
It seems ever more prescient.

He's just another grabbing cuunt in a long line of grabbing cuunts who've been PM in this country recently.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostIndeed

The fact that he's Labour shouldn't excuse him. It's not surprising though as he's basically an unprincipled cuunt with it.
