It might to unnecessary and very unwise given the optics but it’s certainly not corrupt and miles away from the amounts raked in by his predecessors and mates in recent years. It leaves a bad taste but let’s have some perspective. (This is to Bob and others too)

I would rather he wasn't prime minister and the likes of him and the loathsome Emily Thornberry and the annoying Yvette Cooper were not part of the set up

But the alternative under the conservatives would be far worse and the last 14 years is the evidence

Cameron , May , Boris , Truss , Sunak ......and now the lurch from the tory party to the right to deal with reform

        No thanks

We have had 14 years of the Tories up to their necks in sleaze

I am more than happy to give starmer time to bed in even though I wish somebody else was PM

I don't understand why people don't take to the serial liar!

Being pragmatic isn't a reason to excuse Starmers behaviour.

Interestingly, one of Starmers main donator's until recently was rumoured to have free rein to wander about Downing Street and use it at his convenience.

Perhaps Waheed was designing the interior decorating?

Starmer (for some) got their vote as he was seen as being different to the Tories who permanently got their noses in the trough. Just shows how much of a shiit show British politics is.

The thing above anything else I hated about Johnson was that he was a serial liar, but Starmer's little better - he tells lies as a matter of course and I'd be a hypocrite if I just accepted it from him after my attitude towards people like Johnson and Trump. Just because Starmer's in the party I've supported all of my life, it doesn't mean he gets a free pass from me for the sort of things he's done since he became PM. Perhaps naively, I've spent my life thinking that, although there have always been corrupt individuals within Labour, as a rule they were a level above the Tories when it came to that sort of thing. However, so far, all we've got is someone at the top who's milking the sysytem for all it's worth and yet more austerity, so, as usual, it's those least able to cope who are the ones to suffer most.

Do people suddenly expect the trains to run on time , the war in the middle east to end and maybe Starmer to appoint a new manager for us ?

5 years is the term of this government

Thank god tge Tories didn't win

Most of the people having breakdowns about starmer didn't vote for him or want labour anyway

                        Mostly Tories

Even long before Blair went mad and invaded Iraq people were complaining he wasn't a socialist and just a tory in a suit

The pensioners fuel issue has been handled badly but there's far too much amateur dramatics about him already ....mostly from disgruntled tory voters

                        Tough luck

Yes and already breaking down, not sir kier though, even landed himself a 10k a month box at the emirates for free….nice work.
He’ll do well to catch the Bliar though, some of the deals he pulled crikey, particularly property related.

Many of those on this board who call him out cannot be described as disgruntle Tories

And it is not just the fuel allowance

                              There's the freebies issue

                              Sue Grey's salary

The fact that by all accounts they will also be heading down the austerity route.

Unnecessary, according to some well respected left wing economists (Blanchflower and Murphy for example). Blanchflower was also dismissive of the so called 22 billion black hole

And I sm sure I could think of more but that will for now

I would agree it is very early days and he has plenty of time to change opinion.

But I am not holding my breath.

Get it right, if you don’t vote for the leftist regime then you are by default a Tory according to the resident idiot on here….to think there are 1000’s of other clueless work shy buffoons in Wales who are a major part of our problems
