Agreed. But f*ck me it's depressing isn't it? What do we do? I have no political home. I genuinely feel despondent. Reading Eric's post (which I also think is spot on with the trajectory we're on) just depresses me.
On the disability activism front, it's even worse than before the election. I've just had a load of documents through that help with my advocacy work and it's f*cking awful what Labour have planned.
Seriously. Any 'helpful' suggestions from anyone welcome. I'm not in a good place over this. I don't need fickle, trite, smug, political comments. What are the solutions? All I see is lurching towards a far right future where we're just leaving the vulnerable to die. It's all about money.
We've turned 'do gooders' into political enemies. Inclusivity has become a negative. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
Politically, where does anyone with a social conscience go?
