You implied he was connected to Reform, which he isn't. A deliberate attempt to mislead, which is essentially the same as lying.

He encouraged us to, and presumably did, vote Labour in the General Election. And that's fine. The vast majority of us (but not you) don't see the world in such black and white terms.

But there's no need to mislead or twist the story.

You mean he’s seen the light right? Realised voting for Labour was a mistake like you did? Maybe the guy who was the UK’s 3rd highest tax payer ( don’t worry about that sludge, you won’t get it) has a brain. When Labour pulled similar taxation shit in the 70’s all the rich left, like the Beatles and the stones for example, why not? 90% tax was it?
He could have worded what he said better and he meant to say from the year 2000 not 2020, but he was right about population growth here, it’s way above other EU countries. And 9 million on benefits…..is that wrong?
