Huge credit to Carlson and the lower order. With the weather forecast looking as it is, Derbyshire will need to go at a T20 rate to realistically try and force a win.

Off the field, there seem to be strong rumours of Marchant de Lange coming back next year.

I cannot see how Middlesex win with Lancashire still batting in their first innings.

You are right. They could then only tie with us

I saw somewhere that it then comes down to number of victories.

As we would have 5 wins to their 3 (if they win their remaining games) then Glamorgan are up, even if our final game is washed out

I think we are up. Even if Glos win today they will be 24 points behind us. So the best they could do is tie with Glammy on points in the highly unlikely scenario of winning 24 points in their final game to Glammy's 0.
However if teams are tied on points the team with the most wins finishes higher.
As Glammy are well ahead on wins I reckon its all done and Glammy are up.
Shoot me if I have this wrong.

That would take a pretty amazing scenario though!!!

As you see from my previous post I agree Gloucester cannot now beat us due to our superior number of victories
