CanÂ’t find any back-to-back games later than those.
Slight deviation from the thread, but something relevant to your postÂ… I remember a game against Leicester City where Kieth Weller (Leicester) had a really bad knock on his leg during the game and could barely walk.

I remember the ball going out for a Cardiff throw and the ball running, with free abandon, down the touch line with non of the City players in a rush to get it to take the throw.

Weller hobbled after it, retrieved it, and gave it to the City player to take the throw, at which point almost all the City fans started applauding him for his sportsmanship.

I seem to remember thinking that he only did it cos Leicester were losing, so maybe it wasnÂ’t the game you listed.

Keith Weller left Leicester in late-1978, so I'd guess the game you're thinking of was in October 1978 (City beat Leicester 1-0 on that occasion).

Well done, I was thinking it was the Jacks and the Wurzels, but then thought it was Leicester
I probably went to all of those matches listed
78 was my first time at the Den

Following on from some documentary I watched about the winter of 1963, I looked up a few clubs seasons and it's absolutely wild how they caught up with fixtures, as most teams didn't play between early Jan and early March.

We played on the 13th, 15th and 16th of April in 1963. Some clubs who went far in the cups had it even worse I think.
